New Survey for Military Families

Hey, do you have opinions about the military and families?  I bet you do!  (Doesn't everyone?) The Military Family Advisory Network  is asking for help in completing its 2014 Military Family Support Programming Survey.

The Military Family Advisory Network is an organization that helps put military families together with the services that they want and need.  I'm not familiar with the organization as a group, but I do know several of the advisers.  I look forward to watching their progress in the future.

This survey is one way to assess the wants and needs of military families.  Rather than a yes/no, or ranking survey, it is an open-ended list of topics on which you get to write your thoughts.  I liked that it gave you lots of opportunity to elaborate on your thoughts, rather than just answering pre-set questions.   It is estimated to take approximately 15 minutes, but I feel like it took me longer.  The Military Family Advisory Network will share the results with leaders and decision makers, to help make sure that family member voices are heard.

If you are looking for another avenue to express your views, this is exactly right for you.  The survey is open to spouses and children.  Results will be published in October.
