  • I’ve written a letter to my Representative/Senators on this issue (I’m also extremely annoyed). Anyone is welcome to use my letter as a template for writing to Congress and/or DOD staff… You can find it here: http://www.stilettogear.com/takeaction_mycaa.htm

It’s important to note that spouses who were approved, and did NOT use all of the benefit they were allotted, that remaining benefit is GONE right now. I used half for my first semester, and was holding the rest for next semester. The MyCAA administrators have informed me that those funds, even though approved, are no longer available.

I am currently enrolled in college and I know that MyCAA is going to pay for these classes, but what about the rest of the year? I was approved, but is that for the classes I am taking now or was it for the whole $6000? I had plans to use the money to pay for the first year of college and now I do not know what is going on or what should I do? I was told to apply for scholarships

Mrs. Merced, only the classes that were individually approved will be paid for at this time. Hopefully, the situation will be resolved quickly and we will all have time to resume classes quickly. No new classes are being funded at this time.

I hope that answers your question.
