15 June 2016 Military Pay

FacebookXPinterestEmailEmailEmailShare

You know the drill, folks!  The next regular, active duty military payday is next Wednesday, 15 June 2016.   The day and time that your deposit is available for use in your account will depend on the bank or credit union you use, and sometimes the type of account.

If your bank or credit union doesn't advertise or offer early direct deposit, you should assume that you will be paid sometime on Wednesday, 15 June 2016.  Most banks have their deposits credited in the morning, but that is rarely guaranteed and doesn't always happen.

USAA

USAA offers to deposit military pay "one business day early" as a benefit to its customers.  For this pay period, one business day early will be Tuesday, 14 June 2016. There is no reason to believe that it would be deposited any earlier than this.

Navy Federal Credit Union

Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) has different deposit schedules for customers with different type of accounts.  The only account type that offers early direct deposit is the Active Duty Checking; all other account types receive their military pay on the regular pay day.  Therefore, Active Duty Checking customers will have their active duty pay available for use on Tuesday, 14 June 2016.  Customers with all other account types will have their active duty pay available for use on Wednesday, 15 June 2016.

Pacific Marine Credit Union

Pacific Marine Credit Union (PMCU) offers to deposit military pay one business day prior to the actual payday.  For this pay period, PMCU customers should see their pay deposited on Tuesday, 14 June 2016.

Service Credit Union

Service Credit Union offers to deposit military pay two business days prior to actual payday.  For this pay period, Service Credit Union customers should see their pay deposited on Monday, 13 June 2016.  It is possible that it would deposited earlier, but no guarantees.

This payday is pretty clear and hopefully there won't be any confusion!
