Looking to see if you'll get paid before the Halloween holiday weekend?  You're in luck! (Or, there's a schedule to this pay thing.)  The next regular, active duty military payday is Friday, 30 October 2015.  The day that your 30 October 2015 military pay shows up in your bank account depends on the policies and practices of your bank or credit union.  Some financial institutions offer early direct deposit of military pay as a courtesy to their customers, and as a way to entice people to switch to their service.  If your bank or credit union doesn't advertise early direct deposit, then you should assume that you will be paid on the actual payday, Friday, 30 October 2015.

USAA

USAA guarantees that its members will receive their military pay deposit one business day prior to the actual payday.  For this payday, that means Thursday, 29 October 2015.

Navy Federal Credit Union

Navy Federal Credit Union is tricky, because you need to know what type of account you use for your military pay deposits.  Navy Federal offers a variety of account types, but for this purpose, the important part is whether you use an Active Duty checking account.  Just because you are on active duty does not mean that you selected an Active Duty checking account; you may have chosen another type of account.

If you use a Navy Federal Credit Union Active Duty checking account, you have the benefit your military pay being direct deposited one business day prior to the actual payday.  For this payday, that means Thursday, 29 October 2015.

If you use any other type of Navy Federal Credit Union checking account, your pay will be deposited on the actual payday.  For this payday, that means Friday, 30 October 2015.

Pacific Marine Credit Union

Pacific Marine Credit Union offers the deposit of military pay one business day prior to the actual payday.  For this payday, that means Thursday, 29 October 2015.

Service Credit Union

Service Credit Union offers the deposit of military pay two business days prior to the actual payday.  For this payday, that means Wednesday, 28 October 2015.

Don't forget that including this 30 October 2015 military pay, there are only four more paydays before Christmas!  Don't be surprised when those holiday expenses start popping up and you need some extra money.  Make a plan now so that the holiday season isn't super-stressful.
