Disney!  Just the word gets kids and grownups equally excited!  That's why it is great news that the greater Disney companies have announced the extension of their popular Armed Forces Salute program that offers discounted park tickets and hotel rooms.

What's The Deal?

For Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the Armed Forces Salute ticket is a 4 day Park Hopper ticket for $177 plus tax.  You can add the Water Park Fun & More option for $30 additional per ticket.  Tickets must be purchased by 17 December 2015 and used by 20 December 2015.

For Disneyland in California, the Armed Forces Salute ticket is a  3 day Park Hopper Tickets for $132.  Tickets must be purchased by 18 December  2015 and used by 20 December 2015.

For hotel rooms, the exact discount isn't disclosed online because of the 101 variables involved.  Each service member or spouse may book up to two rooms with a maximum of five people per room.  The discount is not available 26 November 2015 through 28 November 2015.  Reservations must be booked directly through Disney at (714) 520-7088.

Who Is Eligible?

The Armed Forces Salute tickets are available to active or retired service members , including the National Guard, reservists and the U.S. Coast Guard.  In the absence of their active duty military service member, spouses may use this discount with their valid military ID.

Up to 12 tickets may be purchased using the Armed Forces Salute program.

Where Do I Buy Tickets?

Tickets must be purchased at your military installations ticketing office, such as ITT.  Tickets will then have to be activated at the theme park ticket windows.

Anything Else?

The usual theme park ticket rules apply.  You can't share one ticket between multiple people, even if they go on different days.  Once you've entered a park on a day, that day is considered used.  All other Park Hopper rules must be followed.

For more information and to purchase Armed Forces Salute tickets to Disney properties, call your favorite base's ticket and tours office.  Military ID will be required for ticket purchase.

Don't forget that other ticket options may be cheaper than the Armed Forces Salute tickets.  Be sure to explore all the ticketing options before making a purchase!
