I'm not sure if it is a sign of the future, but the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) remote location sales are becoming fewer every month. I'm sure there is a huge logistical support cost to these sales, and in the current financial climate, it seems likely that they might end altogether. In the meantime, let's enjoy the opportunity to access commissary products and prices without having to drive a day to get to a regular commissary store.
