I’m sure it seems crazy to be talking about December paydays now, but I foresee the potential for lots of stress and frustration. The best way to avoid that is to know what’s going to happen, and to start planning now. The end of December can be financially challenging to many folks, and the way that the paydays fall isn’t going to help.
The December mid-month payday falls on Friday, 14 December 2012. The December end-of-month payday is on Monday, 31 December 2012. There are three weekends in that 17 day period, two before Christmas and one after Christmas. I’d hate for anyone to come up short because they didn’t know that there were going to be more than two weeks between those paydays.
Starting with this September end-of-month payday, there are six more paydays before Christmas. Are you preparing for those costs? A little planning now will help avoid any pay drama come the holiday season, and will help to ensure a pleasant enjoyable time for all.

What is all of this???"Money Management 101? A little late for that isn't it???
Actually there r probably a lot of younger folks w kids that haven’t given this any thought. I’m retire but had one son turn 18 yesterday & 2 more kids w bdays b4 Christmas. I have to pay attention to pay dates at this time of the years so I can spoil them as I see fit!
Thanks for the article, I’m sure it will help someone.
Dan, learn how to spell. Retired, not "I'm retire".
Take a break DAN!!!!!!!
Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure there are many people who hadn't given this much thought.
I hear about all the stress soldier go through about getting paid every two weeks, I wish I got paid every two weeks but when you retire it is once a month. So you might start now making you money last because when you retire you get paid once a month and there is no running down to finance trying to get an advance on your pay.
