I am so jealous! I was in my local Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) branch today, and I saw a flyer advertising their "Senior Enlisted Rewards Program," and, oh, what a deal it is!
Exclusively for active duty, National Guard, and reserve NCOs E-7 to E-9, the Senior Enlisted Rewards Program offers discounted loan rates, increased referral bonuses, and a special bonus for new mortgage and equity loans. Details include:
- 1% discount on all consumer loans, including auto, boat, motorcycle, and personal loans. Given NFCU's already great rates, this is amazing to me.
- $250 loyalty rewards card upon closing a mortgage or equity loan.
- Special 0% interest rate on new card purchases and balance transfers, for limited time.
- $100 bonus for each senior enlisted friend you refer to become a NFCU member.
Navy Federal Credit Union is a fantastic banking institution that is open to all branches of the service. It costs just $5 to become a member, and the benefits are great! I wish these great deals were available to all of us, but for now I will be happy for my senior enlisted friends.
