Well, I've done it AGAIN. Let my powers of attorney expire. My husband is leaving shortly, our car registrations expire while he is gone, and my powers of attorney expired last week. Exactly the opposite of the advice I gave in February when I wrote a general article on Powers of Attorney.
Please, please, please do not be like me. Check your powers of attorney, see when they expire, and note it on your family's calendar, in your daytimer, set an alarm in your iPhone. Whatever you need to do, do it.
