Active duty military folks are getting paid on Thursday or Friday of this week, depending on the policies and practices of your bank or credit union. Please, please note that this is a very long pay period...19 days until the next military pay day on 1 February 2012. If your budget is tight, you will need to be extra careful to make sure that your funds last until the next pay.
