Thanks to a tip from a helpful reader in Nebraska, I've learned that Big Lots stores will be offering a 10% discount to military ID holders on Saturday, 21 May, 2011. If you are not familiar with Big Lots, it is a deep discount chain that carries a variety of seemingly random merchandise at great prices. Big Lots stores can be found in locations all around the US (and they are opening more stores every year.)
If you are already a Big Lots shopper, be sure to take advantage of this discount and time your shopping for Saturday. If you've never been to Big Lots, this might be a great time to do a little research trip. I am hesitant to sound like I am encouraging people to shop and spent extra money, but if you can find better prices on something you already buy, that would be great!
