Military Spouse Scholarship Apps Being Accepted Now

It is that time again - time to submit your applications for the Joanne Holbrook Patton Military Spouse Scholarship that is offered through the National Military Family Association (NMFA).  The Patton Scholarship program is available to all spouses, including:


  • active duty

  • National Guard

  • reserves

  • retiree

  • survivors


The only pre-qualification is a valid, current military ID.  Scholarship selection is based upon a short survey, a few short answer questions, and an essay.

The Patton Scholarship Program covers tuition, fees,  and room & board for a variety of programs, not just certain degrees or certifications:



  • GED or ESL


  • Vocational training


  • Professional certification


  • Post-secondary


  • Graduate school


  • In-class or on-line


  • Full-time or part-time


It can not be used for licensing fees, exam fees, or schools that are based outside the US.
