Spouse Tuition Aid Program

While researching the military relief societies quick no-interest loan programs, I stumbled across another interesting benefit from The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS).  The NMCRS society offers an interest-free loan program to military spouses who are overseas and pursuing their education.  It is called the Spouse Tuition Aid Program (STAP) and it provides up to $3,000 in interest free loans to a military spouse who residing with their active duty military member overseas.  These loans are available for full-time and part-time studies and for both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

These programs are administered at the local level, so check with your local Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society to see if you would be eligible.
