Sears Heros at Home Open Now

Update 1:43 AM, Eastern time:  The program is temporarily closed.  Keep checking back for more info.

The Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry is open now, and only until 6 pm CST on Friday, October 15th.  That is just two days from now, so if you are trying to participate, please don’t procrastinate.  The website is swamped so you will have to be patient and keep hitting refresh.

The Sears Heroes at Home program is designed to solicits donations of gift cards from Sears customers and distributes them to military families.  In 2009, over 20,000 families participated in the Heroes at Home program.  After tallying the donations, Sears will divide them amongst the number of participating families and issue electronic/online gift cards.  No family will receive more than $250 in gift cards.  For more information, you can see the Sears Heroes at Home Frequently Asked Questions Page.

I tried going to the Site thru the Link but keep getting that the registration is closed for 2010. Anyone else getting this message? I have refreshed several times.
