Free Tutoring

A new Department of Defense programs offers free, online tutoring service to military members and their families through the  website www.tutor.com/military.  The 24 hour service offers help with homework, test preparation, and even resume writing.   One-on-one assistance with math, science, English and social studies is available for students aged kindergarten through high school.  What a great benefit, especially for families who are struggling with the absence of a parent.

I would like to know if there is any tutoring help for a child starting Kindergarten with ADHD.

Linda, I do not know for sue if Tutor.com can help. However, there are a wide variety of other services that should be available to you. Which exact services will depend on your location. I would start with your pediatrician for referral information, then call the school board for the area in which your child will be going to school. Good luck to you!
