I've really dithered about posting this because I have such a total lack of information. I'm hoping that some readers can help us out. It seems that there is a program called Trees for Troops that provides free Christmas trees to military families at certain locations. I got an email for the pickup at Fort Story in Virginia Beach, but I can't get the attached flyer to open. I've googled Trees for Troops and found out that there are bunches of delivery sites all over the country. The deliveries started on December 2nd and the last scheduled delivery was yesterday. I don't know how you would find out when or where distribution might be at your location. I feel terrible that I don't have more info to share but I didn't want to sit on this either.
